Sustainability

We are proud of our commitment to help sustain our planet's precious environment.  We source only sustainable materials that help reduce your impact on the Earth.  All of our reclaimed woods and many of our Select Harvest Vintage floors are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).  Our reclaimed materials can also help you achieve points toward Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

In addition, our vintage floors are mostly "mill run" meaning, to minimize waste, we make floors that use every possible portion of the timber.  Large portions of timbers deemed not desirable for flooring are also magically turned into slabs (for table and counter tops) by our craftspeople, further reducing our carbon footprint.
